No one should face an unintended pregnancy alone.

Avail is a national nonprofit offering cost-free care and support to women and men since 1996.

Support often begins with a question

a moment of uncertainty or a search for answers.

Today, many women facing an unexpected pregnancy begin their search for help online. They look for private, pressure-free support tailored to them. Some need space to reflect, others want to talk one on one, and many need both. That is why Avail offers two pathways for care. Each is designed to meet women and their partners with compassionate, judgment-free support through what comes next.

Avail provides two pathways for care

available in all 50 states.

One-on-One

Virtual Support:

Text or Online

One-on-one virtual support is available by text or video session with a trained Care Expert.

Support during one of life’s most

complex moments.

We offer support at every stage and in every moment through self-guided or one-on-one virtual support.

  • Decision Making

An unintended pregnancy can raise difficult questions about relationships, finances, identity, and the future.

Our Care Experts offer nonjudgemental support to help women and their partners pause, reflect, and envision futures of hope and possibilities.

  • After Abortion

After an abortion experience, many women and men carry lingering questions or emotions. Our Care Experts offer one-on-one virtual support through text and video sessions, as well as gender-specific meetups, creating space to process experiences with care and respect.

Our Impact

Avail provides qualified, compassionate, confidential care to people facing unintended pregnancies or a past abortion experience. Through self-guided resources and one-on-one support, care is available nationwide, meeting people wherever they are in their experience.

In a complex and emotionally fraught area, Avail's focus is on the point of need—real people in the midst of a difficult situation, being given love and support when they need it most. The testimonies of how this approach has impacted so many lives is really remarkable.
